Eastern Sporting Union (ESU), Wangkhei cruised into the quarter finals of the 51st Sir Churachand Singh KCSI, CBE Memorial Football Tournament after two successive victories over PYA, Kairang.
In another match of the day at Mapal kangjeibung, NISA, Thangmeiband started its campaign with a comprehensive 6-1 win against former finalists Citizens� Club, Soibam Leikai.

While Hangminlen pulled back one for the Soibam Leikai side in the 58th minute Manimohan completed the formality with his second in the 67th minute.
