Imphal, November 23:
A 13-year boy, who was by hit a stray bullet during the November 21 night attack by suspected underground activists on a post of Ist Assam Rifles at Nambisa village in Ukhrul district and the subsequent retaliatory firing by the security personnel was brought to RIMS Hospital here for treatment today.The victim who is currently undergoing treatment in room no.5 of the Ortho Department of the hospital is identified as Thotngam Tangkhul s/o Chihanpam Tangkhul of Nambisa.
The stray bullet that hit him just below the right knee exited .
The young patient has been reportedly referred to the RIMS after giving necessary first aid treatment by the AR troops.
