AR reaches out to remote villages

Imphal, November 23:
To win the hearts and minds of the people living in remote parts of the State, Commandant of 18 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) visited villages of Yongkhul and Sairei Saisem and interacted with the villagers yesterday.
According a statement issued by PRO Assam Rifles, the Commandant also provided monetary aid to both the villages and distributed sweets among the children.
The humane efforts of 18 Assam Rifles were appreciated and applauded by the villagers and the village authorities, the PRO said.
