Imphal, April 24:
L Romen Singh with 4.5 points and 13 progressive score at the end of the 5th round has emerged as the winner of the 24th State Sub Junior Boys Chess Championship.
RK Angamba with 4 points and 13 PS, Ph Rojit Singh with 3 points and 10 PS, Chitaranjan with 3 points and 9 PS secured the second, third and fourth position respectively.
All the four players will be representing the state at the 30th National Sub-junior under 15 years chess championship which has been scheduled from May 19 at Chess India Complex Meenchanda Calicut.
The following are the results of the 5th round of the 24th State Sub-junior Boys Chess played today.
