Imphal, April 24:
Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) has appealed to both the security personnel and the underground activists to think for the life of the Kuki villagers of Sajik Tampak.
In a statement, KIM general secretary Jangmang Haokip said that the Inpi has received information the underground activists are using the civilian of Sajik Tampak as human shield against their will in the ongoing battle with the security personnel.
This means that any amount of casualty may occur on the civilians in the process of firing, he said, appealing to both the security personnel and the underground activists not to ignore this fact.
