Lamka, March 29 2010:
Subsequent to the understanding they arrived with the district administration on the availability of SDOs at their place of posting, CDSU today submitted a representation to the Government demanding the immediate transfer of SDO Tipaimukh, N Bankim Singh.
"The SDO Tipaimukh had never attended his office at Tipaimukh nor at his rented office at Rengkai, Churachandpur," accused the union in its representation to the Chief Secretary.
The CDSU, since December last, demanded the reinstatement of three interior SDOs in the district and their quest for a new SDO for Tipaimukh who can be available to the people was an outcome of their consistent vigilance, it claimed.
