Imphal, August 19:
The proposed agitation of the RIMS Non-Teaching Employees' Welfare Association to close OPD and Casualty Department from August 20 has been suspended in public interest with due consideration of the prevailing law and order situation, informed a release issued by the Association.
Nevertheless, the Association will stage sit-in-protest from tomorrow and take up other modes of agitation.
The members of the Association would also wear black badges from tomorrow demonstrating their protest to the authority concerned until their demands are met, added the release.
