Imphal, February 04 2010:
A three months long training programme on Innovative Design Mould Making in Black Pottery Craft was opened on February 1 at Nungbi Khullen, Ukhrul district, said a press release.
The programme is organised by Nungbi Khullen Pottery Co-operative Society under the sponsorship of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
The inaugural function of the programme was attended by Nungbi Khullen chief S Sahaingam, Assistant Director of DC Handicrafts T Rolly Vareishim and National Awardee in Black Pottery Machihan Sasa as presidium members.
Empanelled designer L Inaocha would be producing different pottery designs during the training programme.
