Imphal, August 21 2010:
Part-Time Lecturer Association Pettigrew College Ukhrul demanded for revival of service regularisation policy and enhancement of remuneration as per UGC norms for UGC qualified part-time lecturers.
Saying that 90 percent of the part-time lecturers have crossed the age bar while serving for more than one and half decade, the association pleaded the Government to frame a suitable policy as done earlier to pave way for regularisation of the remaining part-time lecturers also in a just manner.
The association warned that it would launch various forms of agitation if the Government fails to respond positively in this regard within this month.
