Imphal, November 03 2010:
A BSF personnel kidnapped by unidentified persons 10 month back in January of this year still remains untraced.
Police registered a case after his wife lodged a complaint with a local police station, police said Wednesday.
Thangboi Zou (34) of Molnoi village of Chandel district serving as constable in the 77 battalion BSF, Fatick Cheres post, Mohanpur district of Tripura.
He was kidnapped on January 10 of this year from his native village by some unidentified persons.
He was on leave when he was abducted.
Unable to find him despite his family members' search for his whereabouts and with no clues emerging, his wife lodged the complaint with Tengnoupal police station yesterday, police said.
