Imphal, October 29:
Along with reviewing the law and order situation prevailing in the State, the State Cabinet has decided to withdraw the security provided for protection in case any person is found harbouring underground cadres in their Govt or private quarters.
The Cabinet meeting held in the afternoon at the Chief Minister's bungalow with him in the chair further decided to take legal actions against such persons based on the degree of their involvement.
The Cabinet meeting lasting two and half hours from 4 pm to 6.30 pm has also decided to keep only 27 days as general holidays in the next fiscal year (2008-09).
