Imphal, March 10, 2010:
The ongoing cease-work strike of the JAC of AMGEO and AMTUC has no effect on JN Hospital.
The hospital is continuing with its normal functions as usual, claimed Head of Anatomy Department Dr M Shyamo speaking on behalf of JNIMS Director Prof AD Singh.
Dr Shyamo appealed to the public to come to JN Hospital for diagnosis and other medical services without any reservation.
However, nurses and staff of the hospital have already joined the cease-work strike of the JAC.
To neutralise the cease-work strike of the nurses and staff, 48 nurses and 24 technicians have been removed from their assignment under National Rural Health Mission and put into service in JN Hospital, added Dr Shyamo.
