Lamka, March 10, 2010:
The proscribed KCP has appealed to all the Naga people to unite together.
Observing that the more than 10 year long Indo-Naga peace talk is unable to find any amicable solution, a press release issued by Tabungba Meetei of KCP's information and public relations department attributed the alleged lack of progress in the political dialogue to the deviation from the real issue of national sovereignty.
The Naga outfits may continue with the peace talk but it should not pose a challenge to the territorial integrity of the neighbouring states.
Such talk which impinged on territorial integrity of other States cannot be called a peace talk.
Rather, this would amount to playing to the policy of New Delhi aimed at keeping the people of the region divided so as to keep the revolutionary movements subjugated.
In order to defeat such design of New Delhi, the KCP is prepared to work together and tread on the right path of revolution.
For issues related to Manipur, there must be consensus among all the 36 ethnic groups inhabiting the land.
No decision taken by a particular ethnic group cannot be claimed as a decision of all the ethnic groups.
The alien rule need to be overthrown by a collective and consensus resolution of all the 36 ethnic groups.
Taking serious note of the shooting and injuring of Advocate General Koteshwar, the outfit asserted that the incident appeared like a high-level conspiracy.
It further questioned the security of common man when a top-level officer can be shot in broad day-light.
It wondered whether the shooting incident was a conspiracy hatched within the existing political conflict between India and Manipur.
