Imphal, November 19 2009:
Troops of 31 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) apprehended 14 Myanmarese Nationals who were entering into Indian territory without any legal documents from near Moreh Gate no.1 at around 8 pm yesterday.
In a statement, PRO IGAR (S) identified the arrested Myanmarese Nationals Nurunahaned (28), Niellian (28), Thanghau-liankhup (32), Chaou (41), Mauthei (57), Wayau, Thiway (30), Memei (24), S Anglei (27), Tangei (18), Kohumau (18), Salui (28), Thangsankhai (33) and Aumgpawe (40) .
All of are residents of Tamu, Myanmar, the PRO said, while informing that all 14 have been handed over to the custody of Moreh Police Station.
