Imphal, April 16:
After the State was brought under the rule of New Delhi, the people are being subjugated and oppressed.
Observing that India is today a nuclear power with the second largest Army, (only next to China) and the fourth largest Air Force, KCP noted that it would be a gross mistake to underestimate New Delhi.
Nevertheless, how strong and powerful India is, the people of Manipur need not lose courage and determination.
In most cases of encounter between security forces and insurgents, it was the former who suffered repeated setbacks.
It is for this capability of the insurgents that the revolutionary movement is making remarkable progress in the face of New Delhi's multifaceted strategies to crush the revolutionary movement, remarked the outfit.
Recalling that there was not a single colonial power who could suppress liberation movements for good, KCP called upon the people to identify the major factors hindering unification of all the ethnic groups of the State, inevitable to make the liberation movement successful.
The outfit stressed on the importance of acknowledging the necessity of bringing unity among all the ethnic groups of the land.
Further, the people should make an indepth study of the basic hurdles in streamlining the liberation movement of the indigenous Mongoloid groups of South East Himalayan region or Indo-Myanmar region who have been enduring the brunt of alien rule.
To accelerate the liberation movement, the outfit stands for unification in certain areas with other revolutionary groups with similar vision, disclosed KCP.
Consequent upon the relentless liberation movement launched by revolutionary groups, the suffering of the people under New Delhi's rule and the atrocity of their military has been unmasked before the international community.
Irom Chanu Sharmila's single-handed battle against the atrocity of security forces also helps in exposing the martial rule imposed in the State by New Delhi.
In such a way, today's generation has been able to inspire not only the people of Manipur but also the entire peoples of North East to fight for their rights to self determination.
The re-unification of KCP under the initiative of KYKL, PREPAK and UNLF and the subsequent joint operations undertaken by the four outfits in certain areas is a clear testimony to the fact that the revolutionary movement is progressing, it claimed.
While conveying its gratitude to KYKL, PREPAK and UNLF for their invaluable help towards re-unification of KCP, the outfit's Central Committee confided that if all the revolutionary groups of the North East join hands and build up a united strength, the revolutionary movements can achieve their goals.
Conveying deep concern over the fragmented nature of the existing society even as all the people have been enduring the oppression of the alien rule, the outfit reiterated its call for unification of all the ethnic groups so that the common enemy can be engaged with a united strength.
It further called upon the people and all insurgent groups to close the chapter of factionalism, intra-party and inter-party clashes, dis-unity etc.
"Otherwise, we will be only helping New Delhi consolidate and extend its rule over Kangleipak", KCP cautioned.
On the auspicious occasion of KCP's 27th foundation day, the outfit offered revolutionary salute and conveyed best wishes to all the people.
KCP also extended its greetings on the occasion to all the people of other States who have been supporting the liberation movement.
Greeting all those KCP cadres maimed for life, families of the cadres killed in battles and those languishing in prisons, the outfit called upon them to re-endorse the party's promise to fight until victory is achieved.
