Another KCP faction brought to its knees

Imphal West District Police in co-ordination with Aizawl police have reportedly arrested four members of KCP (Sunil faction) from Bongkawn area of Aizawl last night.
A statement issued by Senior SP of Imphal West district L Kailun today has identified the arrested members as Konsam Inaocha alias JK alias Jack Singh (35) s/o K Lokhon alias Lakshaman of Wangkhei Thokpam Leikai under Imphal East district but staying at Bongkawn, Lunglei Road Jari Sean, Chirom Herojit alias Abung (29) s/o Ch Shyam of Wahengkhuman Mamang Leikai but staying at Bongkawn Market, Ingudam Bipen Singh (32) s/o I Jugindro of Nambol Oinam Leikai Ingudam Leikai but staying at Bongkawn Hillar Veng and Thaounaojam Ningol Chirom Ongbi Gita alias Gitanjalli (35) w/o Chirom Premkumar alias Tiken alias Sunil of Wahengkhuman Mamang Leikai.
The SSP said that all the arrested four members are actively involvedd in extortion from businessmen, contractors, general public and Government officers through mobile phones for the last 5/6 months.
They will be brought to Imphal after obtaining necessary permission from the local court in Aizawl.
Earlier, addressing a press conference in connect with the arrest at Aizawl at Manipur Press Club here this afternoon, Chirom Ibopishak, paternal uncle of Sunil, informed that in all 11 people including Sunil's young children and wife have been arrested from their rented room at Bongkawn last night by some unidentified persons and the information was conveyed to the family members here through phone by some people who stayed together in the same rented house.
Subsequently, father of Sunil Shyam left for Aizawl today.
Ibopishak pledged that all the arrested people should be handed over to their respective family members here.
Ibopishak informed that among those arrested include wife of Sunil Chirom Ongbi Gita and their four children, Redican (13), Thoiba (8), Thoithoi (5) and Angangsana (2); Sunil's younger brother Chirom Abung alias Herojit and his (Abung's) wife Chirom Ongbi Indubala and their children, Monalisa (8) and Tomba (4) .
Ibopishak said that Abung runs a shop dealing in computers at Aizawl and has been staying there along with his wife and children since last year.
Jugindro, father of Bipen, said that his son had gone along with Konsam JK, who is a mechanic in electronics in Aizawl in 2001 but did not come back.
It is said that JK and Bipen are related as brothers-in-laws through marriage.
