Moreh, November 21:
After some people succumbed to dengue in Moreh, many persons are currently down with cold fever at the border town.
Responding to the situation, a team of doctors of the Indian Council of Medical Research has collected blood samples.
In case not less than 245 samples are found positive for dengue infection, the entire State shall be declared a dengue zone.
Speaking to The Sangai Express at Moreh today, Dr Shiraj A Khan of the ICMR informed that the four member medical team have collected 258 blood samples.
The blood samples were collected by four different teams which consisted of officials from the Chandel malaria unit.
With many people down with fever, Moreh hospital is working round the clock.
Extra medicines have also been procured.
Fogging will be done in Moreh town again on December 2, informed CMO Chandel Dr Indra.
