Imphal, January 12 2010:
Two women, out of four detained under NSA on the charge of sedition and supporting to the observation of "Black Day" on October 21 last called by underground outfits, have been released today.
The two women released today were Mutum Nirmala wife of Maniton of Khongjom Mayai Leikai and Sapam Bimola (60).They were arrested by the Thoubal district police along with two other women Chingkham Bilashini (60) of Sapam Maning Leikai and Tekcham Madhumati of Tekcham Tekcham Khongnang Ani Karak on October 27, 2008 and sent to jail after government ordered them to detain under NSA.
The latter two women had already been released on December 18 after government revoked their detention order.
