The Khangabok Assembly Constituency MLA, O Landhoni has inaugurated a market complex at Khangabok bazaar and a market shed at Wangbal bazaar and in Thoubal district
today.
The inauguration function of the market complex at Khangabok was attended by Hiyanglam MLA, Elangbam Dwijamani; Khangabok Zilla parishad member Kh Kumbari; pradhan of Khangabok Part I, Kh Subita; Khangabok part 2 pradhan, Kh Manitombi; pradhan of Khangabok Part 3, M Manglemjao; and assistant engineer of electricity department, Y Chaoba as the presidium members.
The special guest was Ak Mirabai, the chairperson of Manipur State Women Development Corporation.
Speaking during the inauguration function at Khangabok, MLA O Landhoni said that the Manipur Development Society (MDS) sanctioned an amount for the construction of 8 stalls in the market complex, but the complex has now been completed as having 12 stalls.
She expressed the hope that the people of Khangabok will benefit more from the market complex and said that the hardships faced by the people of Khangabok in going to market will be a thing of the past.
Later, O Landhoni, along with E Dwijamani, has inaugurated a market shed at Wangbal bazaar in Thoubal district.
The market complex and the market shed were constructed with funding assistance from the Manipur Development Society.
She has also inaugurated a shrine of the UFO at Khangabok Moirang Palli.
The MLA O Landhoni, who is also the wife of chief minister O Ibobi, has also attended the foundation day of the Shining Flowers School at Khangabok today.
