Authority of Assam Rifles today organised an interaction programme at Sainik School, Pangei where cadets of the school interacted with students of AR Senior Secondary School, Keithelmanbi.
Fitty-three students of AR Senior Secondary School accompanied by two staffs of the school went to Sainik School, Pangei and held interaction with the cadets of school.
The students of the AR school went to Sainik School under the guidance of the commander of 28 Assam Rifles at Singjamei Chinga Makha post, captain Ashish Chital.
The students were also given the chances to enjoy the facilities provided to the Sainik School.
Commander Ashish Chital said that the interaction programme was organised with the objective of exchange their experiences and sharing knowledge so that they could get knowledge in appearing in the NDA and CDS competitive exams.
The interaction programme a fruitful, he considered.
Registrar of the Sainik School, Major Subhash recalled that Sainik School was established in 1961. Now 28 schools are there across the country including the Sainik School, Imphal founded in 1971. The programme was first of its kinds orgainsed by the 28 Assam Rifles.
