As part of its intensification of the ongoing indefinite cease work strike, the Joint Administrative Council (JAC) of All Manipur Trade Unions Council (AMTUC) and All Manipur Government Employees Organisation (AMGEO) has decided to leave their office at 12 noon daily.
A statement of the JAC issued by the information secretary, L Priyobratta said that the members of the JAC must leave their departments or offices by 12 noon daily.
It also appealed all concerns who went to office the bear the JAC stands.
It further appealed all essential services workers, police, IRB, MR to join the JAC's strike.
The JAC has been launching the strike since 93 days back demanding the implementation of the 6th Pay Commission recommendation.
During a meeting held yesterday, the JAC has decided to intensify its cease work strike.
It also decided to stay away from the coming general election if not their demands are fulfilled before the Centre issue the election code of conduct.
