Altogether 180 pregnant women and children belonging to three different villages of Chandel district have been provided free medical treatment by a medical team led by CMO Chandel Dr O Manihar and Medical Superintendent of Chandel district hospital
Dr N Nabakishore.
The pregnant women and children belonging to Challong, Vumku and Darchol villages were given free medical treatment yesterday and today.
Moreover, nursery medicines were also distributed free of cost to the patients.
District Malaria Officer Dr Kh Indra also distributed mosquito nets and malaria kits to the villagers free of cost.
