The Zeliangrong Students' Union Manipur (ZSUM) has congratulated Armstrong Pame s/o Haitung Pame and Ningwangle of Impah village, Tamenglong on his success in the UPSC Examination 2009 .
Giving a brief academic profile of Armstrong Pame, the ZSUM, in a press release, said that Armstrong was the topper for the entire Tamenglong district in Class X Board exam.
He studied 10+2 in St Edmund College, Shillong from where he passed out his secondary exam in third position in Science stream.
While doing BSc (Hons) in St Stephen College, Delhi, Armstrong won the "Student of the Year, 2005" title for securing 85 pc marks.
In the same year, he qualified in IIT JAM examination.
He got selected in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2007 and was allotted to the Indian Revenue Service before he secured 439th rank this year in the UPSC exam securing himself an IAS post at the age of 25 years, detailed the release.
