Imphal, May 01 2009:
Alleging gross anomalies in the ongoing BEd exam such as asking questions which were out of syllabus besides including questions not compatible to the marks allotted, the AMSU has asserted that results of the exam should not be declared unless the Manipur University makes an enquiry into the matter.
Speaking to media persons at its office today, AMSU Human Resource Development secretary Dipanjit Ningthoujam pointed out that question number 4 of Paper No II was wrong.
Examination for the same paper was held on May 2 .
Question number 2 of Paper III was beyond the prescribed syllabus.
Question number 4 of the same Paper was ambiguous.
Further, even as question no 5 merits only one mark, five marks were allotted against the question, Dipanjit alleged.
Question no 5 of Paper V-VI was also wrong.
Asserting that there have been wrong questions and other anomalies in BEd exams in the past year, the AMSU functionary lamented that the MU authority seemed not a bit concerned with such errors and irregularities.
Demanding that the MU authority should enquire into the wrong questions and anomalies this time, Dipanjit cautioned that results of the ongoing examination should not declared without adding the marks carried by the wrong questions and those not covered by the syllabus.
