Indian Oil Corporation�s Indane (LPG) bottling Plant located at Sekmai will begin commercial bottling from the first week of January next.
According to an informed source, the Indane Plant whose construction activities had begun during the Chief Ministership of W Nipamacha Singh has been completed with the filling process of the 500 tonne capacity reservoir (storage tanks) commissioned since December 3.Informing that at the current juncture checking of the storage tanks are being conducted since the filling process began, the source confided that after the checking exercise is over commercial refilling would begin from the stipulated date.
In connection with the schedule, commissioning of the plant capable of providing 50 tonne per day, IOC representatives have had a meeting with Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh recently, it said.
It may be noted that the O Ibobi Singh Govt is making all out effort to inaugurate the plant during the proposed visit of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and before official declaration of election schedules.
