Imphal, November 04 2009:
A 43-year old man who happened to touch an electric pole while urinating nearby has been electrocuted.
The incident took place near Kwakeithel Bazar at around 8.30 am today.
The victim has been identified as K Kamei alias Nongthomba (43) of Khoijuman Mamang Leikai in Bishnupur district.
According to report, Kamei came in a white colour Tata Magic passenger service vehicle and got down at Kwakeithel Bazar.
As there was no change at the time of giving his fare, the driver was arranging for it, when he went near the road side to urinate and accidentally sprayed on the live electric pole.
He was immediately rushed to RIMS Hospital for treatment.
But he succumbed not
long after.
