Expressing strong resent at repeated denial by officials concerned for handing over related documents pertaining to food for work programme for Shajouba village under Senapati district, the village council chairman has submitted a memorandum to the district Deputy Commissioner for necessary perusal.
In a press release, the chairman P Hesho stated that despite issuance of relevant certified copy in October 2003 attempts to approach the concerned SDO several times failed to yield positive result due to absence of the officer.
Finally, the chairman along with three colleague finally managed to meet the SDO at Imphal with the latter insisting the document was handed over the DC, said the release.
