Ayush docs endorse strike

Imphal, December 09 2012: All Manipur Ayush Doctors' Association has endorsed the proposed cease work strike of All Manipur NRHM Technical Support Union and Association for Block Assistant Finance/Accounts Managers, Manipur which has been enforced since December 03, 2012 .

In a statement by its President Dr K Basanta, the Association asserted that disparity in pay scales among the contract basis staffs of National Rural Health Mission and irregular salary payment has caused inconveniences towards discharging their duties efficiently.

He also appealed to concerned authorities to consider the demands made by the NHRM contract staffs at the earliest possible to end the present deadlock.
