Imphal, July 09: Movement for Tribals Peoples Rights, Manipur (MTPRM) has strongly resented to the SPF Government for not including any representative from Ukhrul and Chandel districts in the downsized Ministry.

MTPRM representatives told Newmai News Network today that the slogan of O Ibobi Singh led SPF Govt with regard to the integrity of Manipur is just a hollow shout.

MTPRM executive member Ngatangyui Wingshen said that in the event of taking important decisions by the Manipur Govt the opinions and views of Ukhrul and Chandel district would not be accommodated as there have been no representatives from the two hill districts of Manipur.

The tribals rights leader further said that the question of excluding the representatives from the two hill districts was a" very sensitive matter and that today the sentiment of the people from Chandel and Ukhrul had been deeply hurt.

MTPRM president N Suanthang stated that there are many tribal ethnic groups in Chandel and Ukhrul districts and' by excluding the representatives in the present Ministry is a denial of the rights of those tribal communities.
