Imphal, April 16: In view of the present violent agitation and arson in the valley dists, Principal Secretary (Home) has issued an order instructing authorities concerned to take up the following security measures for the security of office building/institutions and Govt vehicles with immediate effect.

As per the order issued today, all Govt vehicles are directed to be stationed at secured place like at Hqs of Dist police/MR/IRB, prohibiting Govt vehicles used for any purposes other than official duties, deploying chowkidars/night-watchman at all the Govt office complex, installation of proper telephone facilities at all the office with important, etc.

Meanwhile, Imphal East Dist SP Kh Chandramani Singh has today appealed to the public as well as the Govt employees to contact the Imphal East Dist police on the following telephone numbers in case of any attack on any Govt property by Mayek activists.
