Imphal, February 02: A fourteen year old boy was run over by the trailer of a power tiller at Napet under Lamlai PS this morning at around 9, said sources.

The victim has been identified as one Maibam Jiten (14) s/o M Hojai of Napet Makha Leikai.

Police has registered a case in connection with the incident.

The victim's body was handed over to family members after post mortem at RIMS today.

According to another report, a woman who was hospitalised after being knocked down by a speeding canter last night at around 7.30 succumbed to her injuries late in the night.

The victim has been identified as one Chongtham ongbi Memi (41) of Lamboikhongnangkhong.
