Imphal, November 04: Lt Gen Bhopinder Singh, Director General Assam Rifles visited the State on November 3 and called on Governor Dr SS Sidhu and Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh In a statement, PIB (Defence Wing) said that the General reviewed the security situation in the State and also visited Churachandpur and interacted with the troops deployed there.

The General is accompanied by his wife Mrs Winne Singh, President of Assam Rifles Women Welfare Association.

During the visit, Mrs Singh interacted with the NGO�s from HIV/AIDS organizations of the State.
