Imphal, March 11: A woman died and three others including two women were injured in an IED blast at a place three kms south of Hollenjang.

A statement issued by PIB (DW) observed that the IED reportedly planted by UNLF targeted security forces but the explosion took place when the civilians stepped on it.

On hearing the incident, troops of 16 AR rushed to the spot and evacuated the victims to the post of Hengshi who were then shifted to Chakpikarong before further admission to RIMS, informed the statement.
