Ukhrul, March 11: A large number of grief stricken students and public from all walks of life condoled the dead of Qr Ngachon Kharay, Zimik who was a former president of TKS president and present convener of Public Grievances Vigilance Forum at Tangkhul Naga Long ground Ukhrul, today.

Hundreds of people gathered at TNL ground to pay their last respect to mortal remains of the departed leader.

Late Qr, Ngachon Zimik, died yesterday morning at his Phungreitang residence after a brief illness.

Speaking at the condolence service organized by the Tangkhul Katamnao Shaklong (TKS), Qr.

Worthington Mahong, the current president of the students' body said that he was the 7th president of TKS who assumed the power as chief of the students' body from 1992 to 19 94.In his death, today we have lost a true leader, comrade and torch bearer of our society.

But we all believe that this is the will of God, Worthin-gton Mahong said, adding let us follow and pick-up the footprint left by our beloved leader.

All the shops in Ukhrul Town down their shuttle for two and half hours today observed few moments of silence as mark of repect to the departed soul.
