Governor appeals to underground groups to strictly adhere to ceasefire ground rules

Kohima, March 23: Nagaland Governor Shyamal Datta has today appealed to all the Naga underground groups to 'strictly adhere' to the Ceasefire Ground Rules and help in 'consolidating' the present environment of peace.

He was addressing the opening 4th Session of the 10th Nagaland Legislative Assembly here on Tuesday.

He said the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) Government's initiatives to facilitate the 'reconciliation process' between the various groups by maintaining the policy of 'equi-closeness' with all the different underground groups in the State drew positive responses.
