While informing that the NSCN (IM) leadership are yet to take a final decision on future course of action against main accused in the Lungnila Elizabeth murder case - James Haokip (Kuki) - the information deputy kilonser of the outfit K Chawang said intimation has been received to continue the Government of India and NSCN (IM) peace talks.
Talking to the Sangai Express today the deputy kilonser informed of the Centre's interlocutor in the ongoing peace talks K Padmanabhaiah having intimated the NSCN (IM) for continuing the parleys in New Delhi in June month.
Chawang, however, did not give the precise date for commencement of the talks as the intimation by the interlocutor was an informal one.
Mention may be made that during the stint of NDA Government at the Centre top leaders of the NSCN (IM) including its chairman Issac Chisi Swu and president Th Muivah had held talks with the Government officials at New Delhi last year.
Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio had also extended invitation to the outfit's leadership to visit the state when they arrive at India to continue the peace dialogue.
On the other hand, contending that the NSCN (IM) leadership is yet to take a definite decision on the James Kuki issue, Chawang also asserted that the CBI has not conveyed to the NSCN (IM) to hand over the murder till date.
Meanwhile, the CBI team that arrived at the State to investigate the murder of the eight year old GAD Minister Francis Ngajokpa's daughter has begun its probe.
