Imphal, June 18: State rowers bagged two silver and six bronze medals in the 2nd East India and 8th Sub-Junior National rowing championships held at Jagatpur in Cuttack and Ulsoor Lake, Bangalore respectively, according to Manipur Rowing Association.

The two silvers came through Th chaoba Devi in single scull event of junior girls 500 metre competition and Ph Lata Devi who finished second in the same event and distance in senior men�s category in the east India championship.

Bronze medallists are Y Victoria Devi/Th Chaoba (jr girls 500 m - double scull) and W Sanjeev/T Sashikanta (Sr men�s coxless pair).
