Imphal, June 18:
With the main objective of bringing about a stable education policy in the State, Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) has begun a special drive from today to find out and compare the existing structure of fee charged from the students, salary paid to the teachers and administrative requirement in the Govt and the private schools.
A mobile team of the Education Cell of the students' body has been pressed into service for conducting the mass campaign which would also look into whether the private schools and institutes that have been mushroomed up all over are set systematically or not, secretary general of MSF Ch Ananta informed in a statement.
MSF would take up action against the school authorities concerned if the existing fee structures are not in consonant with the salary amount paid to the teachers and the facilities being provided to the students.
MSF would also close down those schools and institutes which do not conform to the rules and regulations.
