Asian gold medalist archer Ratankumar returns home

Imphal, November 24 2009:
State Archer Khuraijam Ratankumar who won gold in compound team in the 16th Asian Archery Championship held in Bali, Indonesia from November 16 to 21 last had returned home today.
He was recieved his family members, volunteers of Karong Young Union Club and localities of Karong at the Tulihal Airport, Imphal at 1.20 pm today.
They recieved him with garlands.
Ratankumar is serving as Havildar in the Indian Army and now being posted in Nasik.
He was the lone archer from Manipur in the championship.
In the compound team event, India won the gold with 231 points.
India won two gold, two silver and two bronze in the championship.
