L Ibotomba found the rival net for the second time in the ongoing MK Ghanendrajit Singh Memorial Super Division Football League Tournament 2006 for Imphal East district to assist XI Star SU, Akampat record a facile 2-1 win against NESU, Khurai today.
Playing the second match of the day at Khabeisoi ground this afternoon, the Akampat side broke the stalemate in the 17th minute when Ibotomba pounced on a sloppy clearance by NESU custodian Tiken off an S Herojit cross.
The second XI Star gaol also came in similar fashion with Herojit again at the centre of activity as his powerful drive rebounded off Jiten only to find a lurking Paolin Kamei squeeze home in the 36th to ensure Akampat�s three victories in four games so far.
