With the approval of MPP to proposals put forth by the Preparatory Committee, the dream for a combined regional party is nearing its realisation.
Further, MPP Working Committee during a meeting today has also decided to constitute a three member sub-committee to complete the process of unification soon.
The MPP Working Committee meeting was attended by its president L Borajao, legislature wing leader Dr Nimaichand Luwang, general secretary O Jugindro, member AK Sanaton and former vice-president H Surendra.
The meeting agreed to approve proposals put up by the Preparatory Committee in connection with the unification of regional political parties.
It also resolved to constitute a three member sub-committee to expedite the process of unification by working together with the representatives of DrPP, FPM and other regional parties.
The task for constitution of the sub-committee was entrusted to the party president Borajao, said a party spokesman.
