Imphal, January 21:
Clarifying that it has no connection with A Nabakumar of Angro who had been just picked up from road on January 16 to lead to the residence of P Toman Singh of Machengpat, Komrem People's Army (KRPA) has claimed the responsibility for setting on fire the office building of the Sericulture.
None of the people of Nungkot Kom village were also involved in committing the act of arson, Com (S) of KRPA Ashon Kom said in a statement clarifying further there is no question of leasing out and handing over land to anybody by the Nungkot Kom Authority or the chief.
The matter can be confirmed from KRPA, the statement added.
