Imphal, July 26:
Asserting that the Telecom Department has damaged the only motorable road from Maram to Purul in the name of providing mobile connection by occupying the whole breadth of the road, the Purul Naga Union has appealed to the Department concerned to take up necessary steps to redress the grievances of the people.
A statement issued by the Union conveyed that people of 35 villages are facing severe hardships after the road which serves as their life line was damaged by the Telecom Department.
The Union further cautioned that it will take up its own course of action if the grievances of the people are not redressed at the earliest possible time.
