Imphal, October 18:
Even as the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) was implemented since April this year in Tamenglong district with the release of Rs 12 crores by the Centre, the State Government is yet to release its share of Rs 1 crore, disclosed a reliable source, adding that delay in release the State share might derail the implement of the scheme successfully.
The scheme was launched by the UPA Government under the initiative of AICC president Sonia Gandhi.
