Imphal, October 18:
In consideration of the upcoming Ningol Chakkouba and Idul-Fitre festivals, the Kuki Students' Organisation, Churachandpur has decided to suspend the 48 hours Churachandpur district bandh which was supposed to come into force from midnight of October 20.Informing this in a statement, the student body expressed hope and aspirations that the festivals will bring forth a new vista for the State.
The student body also appealed to all co-operate to the demands raised by it.
KSO decided to launch the bandh to protest the delay in laying the foundation stone of District Joint Administration building.
