In connection with the recruitment rally held at Lairouching, Senapati from October 6 to 12 for appointment of youth in Indian army, some individuals are reportedly collecting Rs 30,000/ Rs 40,000 from the candidates with the promise that they would be appointed for sure.
Talking to The Sangai Express, a top official of the 59 Mountain Brigade Hqs disclosed that they have received complaints from candidates about some middle men deceiving candidates with the false promise of ensuring their appointments in the Indian army after taking Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 from each candidate.
Notwithstanding such frauds, the army official asked all the candidates who have cleared physical test and medical test to appear in the written test scheduled for October 29 at Senapati Town Hall without any suspicion of foul play or corruption.
To a question, the official conveyed that the candidates have been intimated to submit written complaints so that proper actio'ns can be initiated against the frauds.
