With the State Government grooming to setup a Mini-Secretariat at Churachandpur, two ministers, Th Debendra Singh and N Mangi Singh today personally visits three proposed sites for the said complex.
The visiting officials overheard advising the district officials not to personally recommend any of the sites for the Rs.10 Crores mini-secretariat as the definitive decision would be taken only on the chairs of the Chief Minister.
Sources however claimed that security and favorable work location will have substantial weight in considering the final location.
Meanwhile, International Secretary of the Salvation Army, Commissioner Lalkiamlova arrived here today for an official visit from London with the students and faculty of Childeren's Training Hihger Secondary School � an institution managed by the Salvation Army offering a spectacular convivial.
ZSUM inspects Govt offices (Newmai News Network): A team of Zeliangrong Students Union, Manipur (ZSUM) has inspected the the Tamei head quarter and IT Road on April 18.ZSUM leader N.Pantizei said that during the students' visit they had inspected SDO office, Electricity office and Primary Health Centre of Tamei.
The ZSUM leader stated that they were shock to find no staff present at the Primary Health Centre during their surprise visit.
Pantizei further stated that they had met SDC, Tamei and requested him to start giving AY schemes.
The ZSUM team then urged the State Government to take up more seriously with the sub power station at Tamei by installing all the infrastructure at the earliest.
The ZSUM team also stated that the repairing works along the IT Road is underway.
