Even though Opposition members are likely to continue boycott of Speaker during the forthcoming monsoon session, SPF Legislature Party held at meeting at the Chief Minister's office to finalize strategies to tackle tirades of opposition DPA.
Presided by the CM O Ibobi the meeting held in-depth discussion to face barrage of questions from the opposition ranks during the session that will also have budget presentation.
The CM also reportedly advised his ministerial colleagues for adequate preparation of their respective texts and resolve any difference of opinion among the the ruling partners.
Besides measures to ensure smooth process of the House session the CM urged senior Cabinet Minister to aid their junior colleagues (Minister of States) in preparation of replies to the opposition member charges during the session period.
O Ibobi also conveyed to the members present at today's meeting on discussion held with central leaders and assurances pledged by them for development of the State during the recent visit of the Chief Minister along with some senior Cabinet Ministers to the national capital.
However, the press source declined further information on the Central leader's assurances to the State ministerial delegation that was presented at the meeting.
According to MAHUD, Law and Legislative Affairs Minister L Nandakumar the meeting also centred around the deadlock between the Speaker TN Haokip and Opposition members and expressed confidence of solving the impasse at a meeting convened in the morning of the opening day of the monsoon session.
