CCpur postal problems: The partial closure of CCpur Sub-Post Office Extension Counter at Salem Veng which caters to a majority of the people here, since sometime ago have greatly inconvenienced the people who regularly pay their Telephone bills and send MO and Speed Posts etc through this counter.
Due to the refusal of the officials conduct these services at the counter, people have to go to the main Office at Tuibuong which is almost 3 kilometers away from the town centre, causing lots of resentment among them.
Sources from the Sub-Post Office said on Saturday that the problem is caused by the absence of the head official at the Counter who was reportedly ill.
Reports on the matter are being sent to Imphal Head Office, it added.
