Imphal, November 11:
Clarifying that the individuals now accompanying former candidate of Saikul A/C Yamthang are not members of the KLA/KLO, the outfit has warned that befitting actions will be taken up against Yamthang without any warning if he continues to use the service of these individuals.
A press release issued by KLA/KLO publicity secretary Addi Kuki also cautioned all Departments against giving donations to the companions of Yamthang.
After a thorough investigation it has been established that Yamthang and one Lunpu alias Elbin alias Hangsei Kuki together with the gang they constituted had withdrawn a large amount of money from the Tribal Development Department fraudulently.
Lunpu, currently languishing in Sajiwa jail, was once a project officer of the outfit but he was expelled from the outfit by its former chief Lulun alias Lelin a long time back, asserted Addi Kuki.
He conveyed that all project works and financial matters of the outfit have been ceased with effect from today until further order.
Any one defying the ban will be punished accordingly, he warned.
Meanwhile, in another press release issued by information and publicity secretary Malsawm Kuki, the KLA/KLO has declared ban on screening the documentary film Enam Khakho (The Mirror of Kuki Nation) by the Hill Tribal Council in Moreh town and surrounding areas without prior permission from the organisation.
It also asked the HTC to submit the disc of the film to the party at the earliest.
Asking the HTC and other private individuals concerned to clarify their case before November 15, it warned of befitting punishment against any one defying the warning.
UKLF clarifies IMPHAL, Nov 11: Reacting to the news report about the allegation of the KNO that two of its members were abducted by NSCN (IM) at the instigation of the UKLF from Dimapur on November 3, the UKLF has clarified that the allegations are null and void.
A press release issued by Th Jamesbond of UKLF's Information and Publicity maintained as many UG groups are present in Dimapur, KNO cannot particularise UKLF for the episode in any way.

Condemning the incident, the UKLF warned the organisation concerned for the false accusation.
It also called upon all CHIKIMS revolutionary organisations to stand united and fight for a common cause.
